David Carty hails from Spotswood, NJ, and began his professional music career as a boy in New Jersey in 1974, when he was hired by the Wurlitzer Organ and Piano Company to travel around the Tri-State area, demonstrating Wurlitzer organs. In 1980, David joined the rock show band 'Momentum', playing the southeastern U.S. David played in road bands for the next decade, travelling America, Europe and Asia.
David settled down in Tallahassee, and has performed there ever since, becoming a well known solo entertainer and 'One Man Band' throughout the area.
